Woah. The last pit blog of the year. I don't even know how to wrap this up! I'll start with how Portland gave us an amazing last day. The crowds were phenomenal! Any pit going on the main stage just turned into a huge dust bowl- and then you guys rocked out even harder.
Things are starting to get crazy! Only 1 day remaining after this. Bands are doing collabs and acoustic sets so I'm expecting it to get really crazy tomorrow. I know we all just talk about how insane that hill is, but you actually won "Best Venue" on our Warped Tour Superlatives! We do love you, George, and we'll deal with our sore calves on our own time.
I don't think it's set it to anyone that there are only 2 days left on the road. It's like, everyone knows it, but it hasn't hit them yet. But today was still fun. It's one of the smaller Warped shows, just because this area is smaller, but it's still a good time. Kids out here are really into the shows because not every tour makes this stop- they are excited for everyone!
Last day in California! It's weird that we're not here for the last day, but it was still amazing to say the least. I think it got hotter as the day went on- and how many of you got caught up at the Ernie Ball stage!? There were more than a few times it caused some traffic jams, but alas, we pressed on!
Pomona! I was sad that we didn't kick off here this year, but ya know what? It was actually really nice to have it towards the end of the tour. It's like a nice little present because everyone has friends and family coming out. Plus, I dig this venue. I think I actually prefer the non-amphitheater shows because everything flows and isn't cut off. I just wish there were horses somewhere!
What a lovely day! I say beautiful half a dozen times in the video I think....sorry! But San Diego was in fact an excellent show. It feels good to be back on the west coast in California. All the California dates are incredible and just...feel different than the others. I can't explain it, but everyone else on the tour knows what I'm talking about, too!
Today takes the cake for the weirdest weather. Woke up, really hot. Got cloudy. Oh wait! Sunny again. Then the rain hit. Stopped. Started again. At least we didn't have a hail storm episode like last year! Thankfully, because Denver kids are awesome, it didn't affect the turnout one bit. High fives all around!
Salt Lake City! You were hectic today. The clouds were terrifying to say the least and made me weary on keeping my camera out, so I had to re-make my schedule a few times. It didn't help that all the booths were on grass, too. Alas, after a little rain we were all set to wrap up the day...and does anyone else think it got hotter afterward!?
First time we hit a new city this year! Last year, Hartford was new and this time it was Edmonton. Beautiful weather, new faces, more Canadians- and we all know that I'm very fond of Canadians! The crowds were once again amazing for everyone- especially the old school punk bands.
O hai sun. We forgot what you felt like. To be honest, this felt like the hottest day on the tour. I talked to some venue staff who have worked Warped for the past 7 years, and they said this was the hottest they've ever dealt with for sure. The heat index was crazy and I got to peel my skin off again with my fingernails. Awesome. Haha

There's a lot to me. There's a lot that I'm still working on. Some things that I do know are that: I'm a professional photographer. I book shows. It's where my heart is. This is my [hopeful] future career... more
